podcast: seamwork radio

Seamwork Radio that tells stories about people who sew. Considering how much sewing can relate to love, life, and family when you’re a sewist, these stories are so worth listening to. I’m always thankful that the guess took the time to share such an authentic part of themselves. Many of my most recent blog faves have been discovered through this podcast ♥

This morning I found myself ugly crying over my pumpkin chunks (canning pumpkins today) while listening to this episode: Loving a person, not their gender with Marie from A Stitching Odyssey.

Marie shares her experienceof  when her girlfriend Charlotte came out to her as transgender. I have several friends who are transgender and some of their experiences coming out to loved ones wasn’t nearly as wonderful. I am so grateful to know that people like Marie are in this world. I really needed to hear something positive and wonderful this morning.
